La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity Inc. is a Latino-based fraternity that was founded in 1982 at Cornell University.  Our Hermandad (Brotherhood) is focused on serving the Latino community through cultural awareness, community service, academic achievement, and the promotion of Latino culture and its diverse people.  The fraternity currently has more than 50 chapters across the country and over 1,000 professional alumni. general community. The Gamma Epsilon Chapter serves as a hub for alumni Hermanos and professionals in the Metro D.C. Area.

 

The Gamma Epsilon chapter was chartered on November 22, 1997 by Hermanos from our Phi Chapter located at the University of Maryland, College Park. Since our chartering, we remained an active force in the Latino community and in the Washington D.C. area. We have been recognized as Graduate Chapter of the year by the fraternity and we continuously strive for the best.
